Bio:
Magnolia Blue plays classic and New Orleans funk, with a smidgen of jam band, a dash of second line and a frisson of blues added to the mix. Based in Northern Virginia, the band features a driving second line horn section, hot guitar, New Orleans-style piano and organ, and soulful male and female vocals, all anchored by rock-solid bass and drums to create a sound that will move your body from the sub-atomic level on up. In sight and sound, it’s always Mardi Gras when Magnolia Blue comes to town. Magnolia Blue has played festivals and clubs throughout the DelMarVa area.
